The Society promotes interest in Egyptology and the history of the Nile Valley’s ancient civilizations.

We were formed in 1992 and are based in the English East Midlands, although we are proud to have members from further afield.

We hold regular meetings at our 3 key centres at Chesterfield, Derby and Nottingham.

The Society extends a warm and friendly welcome to anyone interested in Ancient Egypt and Egyptology.
